I donno why but every time i see a movie in which Jack Nicholson has acted, my respect for him doubles up. What an actor. This movie is poised at 70% for Jack and 30 % for Helen. I will definitely sound very biased, but this man is a genius actor so no doubt he was the show stealer in this movie.
Some scenes to look out for
Washing hands in sopap, picking up soap from a cupboard containing stacks of soap..he throws a cake of soap just after one wash! Heights of phobia. The bacon giving by Jack when the dog comes close to him! wow! The way jack runs all the way to get dressed in formal wear to take helen hunt to dinner...super cool.
